CD2BIM develops detailed Building Information Models directly from construction documents to support visualization, coordination, and construction planning. Each project is carefully translated from traditional 2D drawings into a clear three-dimensional model using Autodesk Revit, typically developed to Level of Development (LOD) 300. These models provide contractors and project teams with a better understanding of building geometry, spatial relationships, and constructability before work begins in the field. Through an organized modeling process and structured milestone submissions, CD2BIM helps improve coordination, reduce uncertainty, and support more efficient project execution.

Linked Structural Model
The model was developed with the Structural linked in to assist in translating the construction documents into a coordinated three-dimensional Building Information Model using Autodesk Revit. The model was produced to approximately Level of Development (LOD) 300, representing the general size, shape, quantity, and location of building elements as shown in the contract documents. The objective was to create a clear digital representation to assist with visualization and coordination for the construction team. The project was completed within an accelerated six-week turnaround, with scheduled milestone submissions throughout the process to review progress and incorporate feedback. The model reflects the information available in the construction documents and is intended for reference and coordination purposes only, without replacing the design documents or assuming responsibility for the design prepared by the licensed design professionals.
